Happy Onam

June 30, 2005 by Surya

Today is Onam – it is the harvest festival of Kerala , the place where I come from. Its been ten years now since the last time I celebrated it. ! And truth is, I miss it – very much. I have a lot of childhood memories associated with it. ..Drawing Pookkalams (floral patterns), snging Onam songs, playing games with my cousins, enjoying a sumptious sadya (feast), the new clothes and the overall festive mood..!

Happy Onam!
